Why is gutter guard installation so expensive?

The cover itself is not a $6,000 object. The quote is.

1. You are buying a sales appointment. National brands send a closer to your kitchen table. Commission, lead cost, and a “today-only” discount are built into the number. Independent gutter guard shops bid more like a trade: measure, quote, schedule.

2. Lifetime warranties are priced like insurance. A transferable, clog-free promise has to fund future service calls. That is worth something — if the company will still answer the phone in 12 years.
