Who we are

Gutter Done operates gutterdone.app, a free directory of US gutter companies. Questions: hello@gutterdone.app.

Information you give us

Quote requests. If you submit the quote form we collect your name, email, phone, ZIP, city, service needed, property type, stories, timeline, preferred contact method, optional project details (linear feet, material, budget, notes), and a Cloudflare Turnstile token used only to block bots.

Business accounts. If you claim a listing or subscribe to Featured we collect account data through Clerk (typically email and name) and billing data through Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).

Listing edits. Claimed owners can update phone, email, website, hours, and service area. That content is published on the listing.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Ahrefs analytics for traffic and search performance. Those tools set cookies or similar identifiers and collect device, page, and approximate location data.

We show Google AdSense ads. AdSense uses cookies to serve and measure ads. See Google’s advertising policy and ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

How we use information

• Send your quote request to a local Featured company and, when needed, to our operators for routing.
• Operate business accounts, billing, and listing claims.
• Improve the directory and keep it secure (rate limits, bot checks, fraud review).
• Measure site usage and show ads that help keep the directory free.

Who we share it with

• The Featured company that receives your quote request.
• Processors: Cloudflare (hosting, Turnstile), Clerk (auth), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google (Analytics and AdSense), Ahrefs (analytics).
• Anyone the law requires us to tell.

We do not sell your quote-form contact details to data brokers.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and listing records stay in our database for as long as we need them to operate the directory and handle disputes, then we delete or anonymize them. Account and billing records follow Clerk and Stripe retention.

Your choices

Email hello@gutterdone.app to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to opt out of marketing we send (we do not run a marketing list today). You can refuse analytics and ad cookies in your browser or via Google’s ad settings.

Children

The site is for adults hiring contractors. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and change the date above.
